Official Australian Arsenal Supporters Club has
re-formed
A group of supporters (including myself) have re-formed
the Official Arsenal Supporters Club. We are currently seeking nominations
for the office holder positions and assistance for the representatives in
each state.

you an email on the 13th with the details of how to vote once all
nominations are in, but email or phone me in the meantime if you have any
questions.

elections will be held 13th-20th December.

No position
should take up more than about 2 hours a month maximum and meetings would be
held over the web with Skype or NetMeeting – all you would need is a
microphone and speakers ($40 max) and internet connection.
The
Chairman
basically advises the committee of when the meetings are to be held, is the
one to run the meetings and keep them on track and on subject and also would
be the public face of the club if there are any media commitments.
The
Secretary
types up any agenda/minutes for the meetings, and receives and sends out any
correspondence.
The
Treasurer
collects all the membership fees and pays any bills that the club may have,
as well as providing a basic P&L and balance sheet to the committee at
meetings.
The Membership Secretary
maintains the database and sends out the renewal forms.
Each
State Representative will be responsible for organizing functions
in their state (possibly only a couple each year, plus an optional pub meet
regularly) and emailing me updates to the individuals states’ web page/s.
